Common Questions Answered
Explore answers to frequently asked questions about reflexology, its benefits, and what to expect during a reflexology session.
If you have any other questions that aren't here, please do get in touch and I would be happy to help.
What is reflexology?
Reflexology is a gentle, holistic therapy that works on specific reflex points on the feet or hands which correspond to different areas of the body. It encourages deep relaxation and supports the body's natural healing processes.
What can reflexology help with?
Many people use reflexology to help manage stress, improve sleep, ease tension, support emotional wellbeing and promote overall balance. Everyone responds differently and my sessions are always tailored to your needs or to support any particular conditions you may have.
What happens during a reflexology session?
Your session begins with a short consultation where I will ask questions about your lifestyle, wellbeing and what you would like me to focus on. You will then have your relaxing treatment where gentle pressure is applied to reflex points on your feet or hands. After the treatment, I will discuss anything that I found during the treatment and give you personalised after-care advice.
Will reflexology hurt?
Reflexology is generally very gentle and soothing. You may notice some tender areas, but pressure is always adjusted to ensure you remain comfortable throughout.
How many sessions will I need?
This varies from person to person. Some people feel benefits after one session, while others choose regular treatments for ongoing support and relaxation.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book by getting in touch via the booking page. You can also contact me via phone, email or my socials. If you have any questions, you are always welcome to ask before booking.
